Submit an application
Before you submit an electronic application (no other form is possible), please verify the conditions for admission to the selected study programme. In addition to all mandatory fields, do not forget to fill in the Supervisor and Thesis Topic fields. Choose your thesis topic from the current list of topics and the corresponding supervisor you have agreed to work with.
The application also includes written materials specified in the Conditions for admission to doctoral study programmes at the Faculty of Economics and Administration.
A fee for one application at the MU Faculty of Economics and Administration is CZK 800.
After submission, check the e-application to make sure it is complete, you have entered all required attachments, the application is paid and confirmed.

Result of 1st round
No later than on 30 April 2026, you will find in your application the result of the first round of the entrance exam and, if unsuccessful, the decision of non-admission.

Appear for the 2nd round of the entrance exam
No later than on 30 April, you will receive the result of the first round of the entrance exam in your e-application and, if successful, an invitation to the second round of the entrance exam.

Turn up for the examination
The entrance examination for doctoral studies takes the form of an oral interview. Details and the outline content of the entrance examination can be found in Conditions for admission to ESF doctoral programmes).

Check the result
Results of the entrance interview will be recorded in the electronic application. At the same time, we will send an acceptance or refusal notice along with instructions for enrolment.

beginning of September
Enrol for studies
Along with the notice of acceptance, you will be invited to enrol. Only after enrolling will you become a student of the Faculty of Economics and Administration at Masaryk University.
