HR Excellence in Research Award
We are a proud holder of the HR Award
ECON MUNI started in 2019 following a long-term development plan preparatory work for obtaining the prestigious European HR Excellence in Research Award certificate.
On April 27, 2021 ECON MUNI obtained this certification and entered the phase of the process, where the individual steps of the action plan are gradually implemented. In April 2023, an evaluation of the action plan took place – Internal Review, which the European Commission accepted without comment and granted ECON MUNI the status of "HRS4R Embedded".
The HR Excellence in Research Award certificate is awarded by the European Commission to research institutions that guarantee a professional, open and ethical working environment by implementing the HRS4R strategy (The Human Resources Strategy for Researchers). The institution regularly demonstrates that it fulfills the conditions for quality human resources management according to the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers.
So far, the European Commission has awarded more than 700 European research institutions.
