What is the HR Excellence in Research Award?

The HR Excellence in Research Award (HR Award) is a prestigious recognition granted by the European Commission to research institutions such as universities and scientific institutes. It represents an internationally recognized mark of quality in the area of care for researchers.

ECON MUNI received this award in April 2021 and is committed in the long term to creating a fair and high-quality working environment. It supports transparent recruitment processes, equal opportunities, improvements in working conditions, as well as the career and professional development of its employees.

The award is based on the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and has so far been granted to more than 700 European research institutions.
