| Popis | Nature of money was understood clearly by Wicksell. It is important as a background for any monetary debate (e.g. regulation of monetary systems, efficiency of banking, monetary policy \dots) and is unfortunately still not well recognized. Framework of Wicksell's monetary theory: starting from elastic monetary system much more appropriate than alternative point of departure: payment system with fluently circulating "money". Even today can Wicksell offers to a student of monetary questions a lot of insights which are hard to find elsewhere in contemporary literature. |
