Department of Corporate Economy

The Department of Corporate Economy was established in 1999 in connection with the modification of the structure of branches of study at the Faculty of Economics and Administration, as a result of the fusion of the Department of Commerce and Department of Management. The department is led by Ing. Mgr. Jakub Procházka, Ph.D.

The department offers various subjects, which enable students to understand activities of an enterprise in their whole context, as well as the relations of the enterprise with respect to its close and distant environment. Specialised subjects thus deal with management, marketing, human resources development, logistics, psychology, etc. It especially applies to subjects in the “Corporate Economy and Management” specialisation (bachelor’s part-time and full-time study and master’s full-time and part-time study).
