Description The paper reacts to the gaps encountered in recent review of research on Business Intelligence (BI)impacts. The objective of the paper is to confirm the positive impact of BI systems on strategy implementation processes in companies domiciled in the Czech Republic and to test selected contextual factors influencing such relation, such as size, sector or character of output markets. The fulfilment of the objectives is searched by means of factor analysis, regression and correlation analyses. These analyses reveal moderate positive association between the level of BI systems and support of strategy. As far as the contextual factors are concerned, only differentiation between industrial and non-industrial sectors was found statistically significant.
