| Description | The article discusses the current trends in evaluations of the structural assistance, with emphasis on the impact evaluations. It is focused on the issues of the presentation of the achieved targets in form of the indicators and it reviews the common used terminology of impacts. The article also explains the shift of the intervention logic to the new approach, which is related to the greater focus on the results of the interventions. Moreover, the methodology of evaluation of the impacts of the Cohesion policy is introduced and the experiences with the impacts evaluation in practice are included. In the end, the opportunities to use the impact evaluation methods in case of the environmental projects are considered. The objective of this article is to provide the theoretical and methodological frame of the impacts evaluation and to assess the possibilities to use of these methods in evaluations of the programs focused on environment, implemented in the Czech Republic. |
