| Description | On the basis of the selected non-profit organization theories analysis author argues the essence of the non-profit sector; he impugns its traditional conception and articulates some recommendations for the public policies towards the non-profit sector as a whole. The starting point of this analysis is the critical approach to prevailing economic non-profit theories, as well as the comparison of those theories and the confrontation with the non-profit reality. The non-distribution constraint is deeply examined and possible application, enforceability and implications are being analysed. Author aspires after evaluation of the (i)rationality of the public policies formulated exclusively on the basis of the “non-profit status” of the organization. |
