The Czech Economic Society announces the 25th year of the Young Economist of the Year Award.
Application deadline: 20th October 2018
Who can join the competition? The award is open to Czech citizens as well as citizens of other countries who are living, working or studying in the Czech Republic, aged 30 years or under (these conditions also apply to potential co-authors). Each applicant may send only one scientific paper of their own work, which should be no longer than 30 pages (a maximum of 54,000 characters including spaces), and must include an abstract, keywords and JEL classification. The theme of the thesis is in the field of economics as a scientific discipline.
The award winners will receive 20,000 CZK for the first place, 10,000 CZK for the second place and 5,000 CZK for the third place.

Poor air quality has significant economic impacts on people's health. A team of scientists from ECON MUNI and the RECETOX centre has been preoccupied with air quality in Brno since 2021.
