From 5 October 2020, the library will be open as follows:

Monday 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Tuesday   1:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Wednesday 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Thursday   1:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Friday 9:00 am – 2:00 pm

Depending on the development of the situation, it is possible that the library's opening hours may still change.

Library services

Most of the services provided will be maintained. Borrowing and returning books, especially in self-service form, printing and copying on copiers, scanning on a book scanner, self-study in study cubicles, which can be booked. A magazine study and a laboratory with a Bloomberg terminal will also be accessible.
However, the computer study room at the gallery is closed and library is not accessible to external readers.

Borrowing periods

Due to the fact that the library is open and accessible to students, we do not automatically extend current holiday loans. In serious cases, when for objective reasons it is not possible to return the books to the library on time, it is possible to individually agree on an extension at the e-mail address vypujcky@econ.muni.cz. Books can also be returned by mail and any penalty paid by cashless payment.

We are extending the standard loan period for absentee units to two months. Newly – for the duration of the prevailing distance learning – we also offer that we send the borrowed books by post, provided that the reader pays the price for transport by courier service. We will bring details about this news as soon as everything is ready. For on-site units, ie books marked "STOP", nothing changes – loans only overnight or over the weekend, without the possibility of sending.

Electronic information sources

A wide range of licensed electronic resources will continue to operate. Compared to the spring semester, however, fewer trials can be expected. We would like to draw special attention to:
