Rights of students not enrolled in the following semester in the period until the Decision on termination of studies takes legal effect

Students who have not met the conditions for enrolment in the following semester remain students until the Decision on termination of studies takes legal effect (30 days from the notification (delivery) of the Decision). You receive this Decision to your university email address from the IS.

The conditions for enrolment to the next semester must be met no later than at the end of the examination period of the relevant semester. If you fail in fulfilling conditions, you will first receive an Invitation to comment on the documents used for the Decision on the termination of studies via the IS. 

You have the right to comment on the documents within five working days. Your response to this invitation is not considered an appeal, however if you have relevant and new information relevant in your situation, respond to the invitation. You can appeal against the Decision, which will be sent to you after five working days from the notification of this Invitation, regardless of the previous comment / non-comment on the documents. Your appeal can be delivered from your university email or in person - register the document at the records service of the faculty.

After the expiration of the period in which you can comment of the documents, your study coordinator will enter status 38 - "The procedure for the termination of studies" in the IS. This status will restrict your student rights.

After the start of the tuition in the autumn semester, all study records of the spring semester will be checked. If the conditions for enrolment to the next semester are not met, you will be sent the above-mentioned Invitation. After the autumn semester, the Invitation will be sent seven working days after the end of the examination period.

The restriction resulting from status 38 relates in particular to the loss of the right to participate in all parts of teaching, examinations and other study activities necessary for the completion of studies. You will not be allowed to register for the exams via the IS, you will be unsubscribed from the already registered exam dates, and it will not be possible for teachers to grade your courses. Hence, an individual agreement with the teacher is not possible.

If the Rector reviews and change the Decision and you can continue your studies, i.e. that you get an additional enrolment for the next semester, you will again have the right to participate in all parts of the tuition. If it is no longer possible to complete the semester, your studies will be interrupted until the beginning of a new semester.
