| Description | No each country is the best candidate for the monetary union membership. It results from the cost-benefit approach to OCA theory that the country is a good candidate for monetary union membership if the benefits from membership are greater than the costs. The OCA index makes considering the costs and benefits possible. In this article, the OCA index for the Czech Republic is counted. Then the author tries to answer the question if the Czech Republic is now a good candidate for the European Monetary Union membership. |
