Description Tradition of Czech and Moravian spas are an inseparable part of European cultural heritage. Spas in the Czech Republic are with their importance compared to area and population comparable with European spa powers. In the Czech Republic spas have distinct regional dimension, in Western Bohemian spas (Karlovy Vary, Mariánské Lázně, Františkovy Lázně and others) there is roughly on half of capacities. Spas have their origin in health activities, lately there has been an increase in wellness stays. For this group of customers it is necessary to create facilities, to increase range of services, to offer better services, to present effectively these services, and thus develop spa tourism. This should be included in spa service packs.
