| Description | The chapter Owners, Property presents results of a primary analysis of data gained from an empirical investigation of 432 companies. The data related to ownership company structure are analysed. The companies are divided into 21 types of the ownership structure derived on the base of typical combinations of the size of main owners, determination whether the owner is an individual or legal entity, determination of owners country, and whether the company is a part of a concern or not and determination of the size of the other owners. The investigation of the type of the ownership structure of companies has considerable meaning. It is assumed that the type of the ownership structure is a factor that to a large extent impacts on many other company characteristics and in final consequences on economical success of company. The chapter also presents results in the area of company management and its material and intangible property equipment. |
