Description The main goal of this paper is to calculate TFP growth for Visegrad states using dual approach to growth accounting and compare the results. The dual approach is based on factor prices rather than quantities and hence the result should be more reliable. Another advantage is that data about prices are better available. Even if Visegrad states seems to be very similar, results from growth accounting shows that economic growth has different sources. TFP and technology is the main cause of growth in the Czech Republic, on the other side factor accumulation plays very important role in Poland and Slovakia. Hungary is country where the sources of growth are evenly divided.
