Description The Paper recalls multilingual nature of the law of the European Union and the European Community, taking into consideration plurilingualism in several other states and in international community. Multilingualism of law creates several problems: differences among language versions and possible absence of expected language version. Czech legal practice starts to be confronted with application of multilingual law. Czech language version is sometimes missing or incorrect.
