Description The first part of this paper includes the description of the basic ideological and value sketch of the Council regulation (EC) No 1346/2000 of 29 May 2000 on insolvency proceedings. The next part analyses the fundamental requierements onto on-coming recodification of the bankruptcy law in the Czech Republic. The last part includes the critical evaluation of the methods of the preparing recodification of the international bankruptcy law.
