| Description | Report from research project Methodics of synergy valuation of areas, that could be stricken by emergency event of large scale (cases when the territory can be spatially specified). Issues of research include results of research of 2004. Specific methods of non-market goods are presented, as well as methods for valuation of properties, services and industries. Spatial specificaton of stricken territory is provided using GIS. The report deals with issues of emergency management of heavy floods and terrorism. Methods are described that are used by insurance and re-insurance companies for predicting major emergency situations. The conclusion brings in the results of the project and objectives for 2006. Contingent valuation method will be used in the selected region . |
