| Description | The aim of this paper is to evaluate the approach to innovations in the Czech Republic by using evaluating criteria commonly used in this area of interest in relation to the EU or OECD. Because the Czech Republic incontrovertibly falls behind with the evaluation of innovation access (even in comparison with the countries that have entered the EU at same time), there are to be found possible directions contributing to the improvement of the situation in this paper. Their further elaboration and application will be carried out in the next stage of the research by the Brno part of the innovation component research team at the Research Centre of Competitive Ability of the Czech Economy. |
