Description The transition to a circular economy requires municipalities to meet ambitious goals both in waste reduction and sorting. In addition to improving the technical aspects, achieving these goals also requires attention to suitable and effective communication with residents regarding waste issues. This is precisely what the workshop "Educating Residents in the Circular Economy" aims to address. The workshop will feature representatives from public administration and recognized municipalities sharing recommendations and practical examples of utilizing various communication and educational tools. A working version of the methodology for educating residents in the circular economy will also be introduced, with the aim of gathering feedback for its further development. The workshop will also include a moderated discussion on existing communication tools for circular economy issues and municipal waste, where municipality representatives will have the opportunity to share their experiences and gain inspiration for further improvement.
