| Description | The purpose of this text, in the first part, is to indicate which of the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on Znojmo currently (June 2022) persists and need to be addressed, including in the context of the expected worsening of the economic situation of households. In the second part of the text, we will focus on the issue of rising energy prices and inflation, especially in relation to the most vulnerable social groups. Tools and strategies are presented, the purpose of which is to protect the mentioned social groups from the significantly negative economic and social impacts of the rapid increase in energy prices and rising inflation. Both parts are concluded with proposals for recommendations or measures that the city of Znojmo could take for the most effective possible solution to both the ongoing effects of the coronavirus pandemic and the currently arising difficulties associated with rising energy prices and increasing inflationary pressures on households. |
