Description Alhough majority of philosophers accept arguments of Dereck Parfit against non-reductionism in personal identity based on possibility of indeterminacy of identity I argue that those arguments are tendentiously incomplete a that their enhanced version in fact supports non-reductionism. Parfits interpretation of fission case is in my view case of begging the question. Argument based on combined spectrum is tendetiously incoplete. Interpreting it through the first person view and adding revers performace at the end changes its solution. My enhanced version of this argument becomes strong sopport of non-reductionism.
