Description Preparing for an aging society is not only a question of quality strategy, but also a question of income - sufficient income, households and the state budget are the basic condition for its successful management. Preparing for an aging society should be seen as a current society-wide issue that cannot be reduced to the issue of the pension system. Demographic developments require much broader changes in the areas of government, affordable housing, funding and quality of social and health care, lifelong learning, employment, valuation and remuneration of social services, protection of the rights of the elderly or the functioning of public space (especially in the context of accessibility). Last but not least, the preparation for aging must also include creating conditions for personal activity in old age, civic engagement and volunteering, and the development of quality interpersonal and family relationships in general. Supporting the birth and stability of families is also an essential aspect.
