Description This chapter summarizes briefly the results of all the book chapters. Results indicate that the Czechs and Slovaks from value preferences point of view are still close to each other now as they were in 1991. Howevever, there are some value areas in which they have started to separate. It is most visible in values and norms which were regulated by religion because in Slovakia, the religion is still playing its role in public sphere and has its impact on family arrangements and gender emancipation. The Czechs and Slovaks are - as far as value preferences are concerned - still partly together but also partly separated. Simply: Living Apart Together.
