Description According to a demographic prognosis by the year of 2050 the Czech society will get old and a proportion of seniors will represent for up to 40% of the population. This fact will bring along partly an increase of a level of demand for seniors services (one of the basic necessaries of life is housing and its quality) and also other system of provision for seniors such as stay establishment, fieldwork, specialized social and health facilities. Based on recent analysis, it’s evident that an equipment of social service facilities for seniors is not developing as fast as the structure of population. The aim of the paper is to analyse an economic position of seniors in connection with a quality of life, their possibilities on social-housing market and possibilities of reaching sufficient services in housing and of provision of social services. The welfare state’s conception is that a casualty care of seniors is more efficient then a care in stay establishment. This paper gives an answer on the question how the system of social housing for seniors is ready for future aging of population.
