Description Following article is aimed on specific municipal cooperation instrument in the Czech Republic that means problem of municipal cooperation in the participation of microregions. Microregions are varying subjects and their launch and finish has spontaneous character determined by variation of different needs and original reasons to fulfil these needs by many cases of local or municipal public goods production. However these local public goods exceed possibilities of only one municipality – what is not only an economic problem but also such a problem of territorial characteristic and also socio-cultural problem. This article will emphasize especially regional disparities and differences determined by the population of unit municipalities and microregions. The objective of this article is to show popularity of using this specific tool and to analyse regional disparities and differences coming from various population size of individual municipalities.
