Description In the paper we attempt to comprehensively evaluate the process of the reform of public employment services in the Czech Republic at the beginning, during and after its completion between 2011 and the first half of 2016 on the basis of a wide range of quantitative and qualitative data from the perspective of changes in the way it is managed and administered (governance). The information obtained about changes in the way of coordination, cooperation and division of competences in the newly transformed system is briefly supplemented by knowledge concerning changes in personnel, financial and technological capacities, cooperation and partnerships between state and non-state actors and the scope and mode of using European money in the Czech employment policy. In conclusion, we summarise the key findings and compare the changes in the management and administration of the newly reformed system of public employment services in the Czech Republic with foreign trends.
