| Description | The paper deals with congress tourism, which represents the tourism sector, whose main objective is the exchange and sharing of information from experts in the field that the topics covered. At present, the congress tourism to a dynamically gowing part of the market in the Czech Republic is gaining interest in last years. The aim of this paper is to evaluate the Czech Republic in terms of conference tourism, which in last years has been developing successfully. In international comparisons is placed in the Top Ten Top 10 cities according to the number of association meetings (in 2014), Capital City of Prague. Post aims to evaluate the position of Prague, a city in the Czech Republic, where he held many international symposia, conferences, congresses, based on selected criteria. Further evaluation, which must meet the prerequisites destination that wants its territory congress tourism develop - what are success drivers and barriers for organizing congress tourism. |
