Description The reviewed book Mathematics in Economics and Economy is primarily written for students in the fields of economics, but is also intended for the study of other non-mathematical fields. The choice of topics, examples, style and language is governed by the fact. The instructional text is in eleven chapters focusing on sets and propositional calculus, numbers, matrix algebra, numerical sequences and series, display and functions, differential calculus of functions of one and several variables, integral calculus of functions of one variable, multiple integrals and combinatorics. The interpretation aims at applying mathematical skills in solving tasks of practice. Therefore, each chapter includes applications to solve specific issues in economics. Thematic units include a summary and tasks to practice the curriculum.
