Description The aim of this article is to use existing knowledge about the TSA and apply selected methods and procedures for evaluating economic impacts of tourism at regional level. Methodically, we used the TSA process of demand size and structure estimation. At the same time we checked possibilities how to use data sources of national TSA for regional analysis. Results of the carried out analyses and investigations show that there are several factors which affect the calculation of economic impacts of wine tourism in the region of LVA. The secondary data were used when they were available. However, the essential data source was questionnaire survey. During the data processing it turned out, that quantification of economic effects at regional level is real. At the same time, field surveys must be part of the research, which complete the data source for evaluation. Tourism Satellite Account is useful starting point for evaluation, however spatial detail of the data source does not allow to use such data in sufficient way. The calculation itself also showed that the greatest risk of inaccuracies is associated with an estimation of amount of one-day visitors.
