Public procurement of innovation: the way to sustainable development? (PPI)

A possible way to tackle societal challenges is by the design and implementation of appropriate innovation policy instruments. With regard to the specifics of solving the challenges, Public Procurement for Innovation (PPI) is increasingly considered to be an essential instrument (approach) at all territorial levels. The proposed project focuses on the subnational level of developing public procurement capacity, using theoretical and empirical findings and expert interviews.
