Joint supervision PhD study

General Information

Joint supervision study is a specific type of international cooperation in PhD studies between universities, based on institutional contracts about joint supervision of doctoral students under the guidance of two supervisors (their home institution and the partner institution).

Participation in the program is subject to the acceptance and registration of students at both universities and students spend a part of the study at their home university and a part at a foreign university. The dissertation defence takes place at both universities and has to comply with the respective rules of the two universities. After successful dissertation defence, students obtain diplomas from both universities.
