Five proposals were submitted to the Dean's Award in the category for academic staff for the best research article. These three papers were awarded as the best:

1st place: Ing. Štěpán Mikula, Ph.D. – the article BOE, Kristine, Therese JORDAL, Štěpán MIKULA a Peter MOLNAR. Do political risks harm development of oil fields? One monograph was nominated for the category for academic staff for the best scholarly book publication, which won 1st place:

Five candidates applied for the Dean's Award in the category for young researchers under the age of 35, two of them share 1st place, other places remained vacant:

Ing. Dominika Tóthová, Ph.D.

A total of three theses were nominated for the Dean's Award in the category for doctoral students for an excellent dissertation thesis by the Dissertation Defense Committees, one of them won the award:
