From May 18, it will no longer be possible to read more than 200,000 documents of the National Library of the Czech Republic online from home, nor more than 13,000 scans taken at MU. This also applies to books that we recently scanned for you through the On-Demand Book Scanning service. For this reason, we will no longer accept any requests to scan additional books from our collection.

Centre of Scientific Information – the library will function in current mode until the end of May. This means opening hours every weekday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm in a limited mode, which is described in detail here. From the beginning of June, the services and opening hours should be expanded, we will keep you informed.

Since the library resumes its operations soon, the automatic extension of book return deadlines for current loans also ends. The current deadlines are set for the period from May 20 to June 23, you should be automatically informed by the library system about the approaching return date. If there are any obstacles in the return of books, please write to us at vypujcky@econ.muni.cz, we will handle your matter individually.

We look forward to seeing you again at our library!
