Dear students,
Although we all believed that this would not happen, we now find ourselves in a similar situation as in the spring. Once again, we are influenced by the current development of Covid-19 pandemic, and we must respond almost daily to changing measures of the Government and the Regional Public Health Authority. I would, therefore, like to ask you again for your patience and tolerance. I believe that together we can handle this challenging situation.

Please read below a summary of the current measures at the Faculty of Economics and Administration:

  1. The TUITION will be organized online throughout the whole autumn semester 2020. Lectures and seminars will take place according to the timetable through applications Studium Online, MS Teams, or other suitable platforms.
  2. EXAMS will most likely also take place online. You will be informed by the guarantors of individual courses during the semester.
  3. The FACULTY BUILDING will be open so that you can visit the library, consult your final theses with your supervisors etc. The regime of entering the building will be adjusted to the current epidemiological situation. Everyone inside the faculty building is obliged to wear a face mask, keep 2 metres distance from the others and observe the hygienic measures (especially the use of disinfection).

Please respect all the measures we adopt to protect all of us. Our goal is to keep the quality and efficiency of the tuition despite the restrictions we had to introduce.

We will keep you updated via our website https://www.econ.muni.cz/en/koronavirus and our social networks.

We are now living in very unusual and uncertain times. However, I can promise you that all our teachers and I will do our best to ensure it does not have a negative impact on your studies.

Please do not hesitate to contact us in case you had any questions or problems. We are here for you.

I wish you good health and a spirit

Antonín Slaný
Your dean
