Economists collected nearly 19 thousand CZK for non-profit organizations
The Faculty of Economics and Administration of MU participated for the first time in the worldwide event Giving Tuesday managed by the initiative of the The Centre for Nonprofit Sector Research. A charity buffet donation was made by 32 students and staff volunteers who baked and cooked a variety of delicacies ranging from cakes, cookies to cabbage soup and chicken butter. Thanks to dozens of people from the faculty in the role of contributors, we managed to collect almost 19 thousand CZK, which will go to three selected non-profit organizations – Domov pro mne, z.s.; Na počátku o.p.s.; Vodicí pes, z.s.
We would like to thank all involved chefs, bakers and students and employees who contributed financially to the good cause.
