Application Requirements and Procedure for Public Administration (Administration Publique)

1. Previous Study Results

Upload your documents so we can verify that you are eligible for the master’s programme.

  1. Bachelor’s diploma (or confirmation of expected graduation)
    - Upload a scanned copy in the original language, stamped and signed by your university or a notary.
    - If the document is not in English, French Czech, or Slovak, include an official translation into English or Czech (also stamped and signed by a certified translator or your university).
  2. Final transcript (all completed courses and grades) - Upload a scanned copy with the same requirements as above (original language + translation if needed).

Upload both documents directly in your e-application.

Please note, HND is not sufficient for admission to our master's programmes. A completed bachelor's degree is required.

2. CV

Your CV helps us understand your background and aspirations in the context of the programme.

Please upload your CV in the e-application in English.

3. Statement of Purpose in English and French

Approximately 1,000 characters outlining your intellectual history, personal motivation to study this programme, career plans or goals. This statement should reflect your personal motivation and as such must not be plagiarized. In case any plagiarism is detected in your SoP, your application will be declined immediately. Avoid using AI, we appreciate your personal input.

This is your opportunity to provide context to your application. Your statement should include, for example, information on your motivation to pursue a degree at the Faculty of Economics and Administration, what you have done to prepare yourself for the pursuit of this degree, and what you hope to accomplish during your studies and after graduation.

You will be uploading two statements in purpose to your application: one in English and one in French.

Note: If you are working with an agent, the statement of purpose still must be written by you and not by the agent. Only one statement of purpose in each language will be accepted, re-submission is not possible.

4. Essay on a Chosen Topic

This is your opportunity to prove your knowlege and orientation in the field. The expected size of the essay is between two and four standardized pages (3,600 – 7,200 letters). The essay should have standard academic structure (introduction, analysis, synthesis), should include appropriate set of references and the literature list (APA style).

Choose one from the topics below:

  1. The role/functions of public administration
Express and explain your opinion about what the core functions of the public administration system are. This opinion should be supported by references to articles/textbooks or other relevant sources.
  2. The structure of the public administration system in the country of your permanent or temporary residence
Describe the main features of the public administration system (organisational structure, functions) in the country where you live (temporarily or permanently, free choice between these two options).
  3. Public administration reforms in the country of your permanent or temporary residence
Describe the most critical aspects of public administration reforms (main reforms, their goals/contents, results) in the country where you live (temporarily or permanently, free choice between these two options).

Be aware that the essay should be original work, it will be checked for plagiarims. Learn more about plagiarism issues here.
