Department of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science

The Department of Applied Mathematics and Informatics offers subjects, which provide the necessary knowledge and skills both for other, follow-up subjects at the faculty, and for application outside the academic sphere.  The subjects currently taught at the department fall into the areas of mathematics, statistics and informatics.  The content of the subjects teaches students to master the theoretical basics as well as to apply the acquired theoretical knowledge and master methodical tools of the specified scientific fields. The acquired theoretical and practical knowledge and skills can be used by students not only in follow-up economics subjects but also in solving practical problems of the real economy.
