The first monitoring report of the Resource-efficient Circular Product-Service Systems (ReCiPSS) project funded under the Horizon2020 EU Framework Program for Research and Innovation, evaluated by representatives of the European Commission in March 2020, was excellent for the Faculty of Economics and Administration team. Evaluators Keti MEDAROVA-BERGSTROM and Marko SEPPÄNEN commented on the “Demonstrator Baseline and Market Characteristics Report” output with the highest possible “excellent” rating on the 5-point rating scale.

The report contains a literature review of available tools that businesses can use to innovate their business models towards circular ones, the results of two extensive market research for two companies - Gorenje (research on consumer awareness, attitudes and experiences in the context of circular economy approaches in Denmark, the Netherlands, Austria, and Slovenia) and Bosch (research on existing reverse logistics practices and existing IT and IS support for the reverse flow of automotive parts and spare parts between wholesalers, car repair workshops and component and parts brokers in France and Germany) and design of new circular business models for both demonstrators.
