In 2020, the Faculty of Economics and Administration signed an exclusive agreement with the University of East Anglia (UEA), which allows our master's students to complete one year of their studies at UAE and get two master's degrees - Master's degree from the Masaryk University and British Master’s Degree (MSc.) from the UEA.

The University of East Anglia is an internationally recognized prestigious British university. It is ranked in the UK Top 25 and the World Top 200 Universities. The university campus is located in Norwich, about 2 hours east of London.

About the programme

Study plan

Students apply to the programme in their second semester at FEA. If they are selected, they study their third and fourth semester at UEA.

Students of the following master's programmes can apply to this programme:

Masaryk University‘s Master’s Programmes

UEA’s Master’s Programmes

Business Management International Business Economics
Finance International Business Finance and Economics or Quantitative Financial Economics
Economics Economics

Students are required to gain at least 180 British credits and submit their diploma thesis during their one-year studies at the UEA.

FEA will recognize all courses in student’s study plan for the 3rd and 4th semester upon a successful completion of the studies at the UEA.

Students who wish to receive a master's degree from both UEA and MU are obliged to complete their studies with the state final examination at the FEA.

Tuition fee and Scholarships

  • The tuition fee is £18,100 for the whole programme at UEA
  • UEA offers a tuition discount for the best student from FEA MUNI:

- for starting in 2022/2023 and further, the selected student pays 50% of the standard tuition fee

  • Students will also receive a scholarship from the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (up to CZK 20,000 / month)
  • FEA will support UEA graduates with a scholarship from the Faculty Scholarship Fund

The selection procedure is administrated by the Faculty. Applications are submitted electronically and include:

  • Letter of motivation sent to: Stepanka.Lackova@econ.muni.cz

Nominated students then apply directly to the UEA.
