Doctoral studies at ESF MU are characterised by the individualised form of study and the independent scientific and research activity of the doctoral student. Research and preparation for it make up two thirds of the study. The remaining third is devoted to theoretical preparation.
Collaboration with a supervisor throughout the entire study is essential for a PhD student. However, the doctoral studies bring the opportunity to establish contacts with other experts not only in the field at home but also abroad.
In the course of their studies, students will acquire the knowledge for independent research and creative activities, which they will use not only in their scientific careers, but also in highly qualified positions in practice. They become experts in their field, which they can further develop.
All programmes can be studied in full-time or combined studies mode.
