Conference on air quality in Brno and South Moravia

We are pleased to invite you to the final conference of the projects that have been monitoring air quality in Brno and its surroundings since 2021. Presentation of results of the research will be included as well as outcomes of a questionnaire survey in which the ECON MUNI scientists investigated the willingness of South Moravian residents to switch to a more ecological heating systems or means of transportation.
The event will take place on 23 April from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Assembly Hall of the New Town Hall on Dominican Square. Associate Professor Vilém Pařil and Dr Dominika Tóthová from ECON MUNI will participate together with the representatives of the Brno City Council, the Transport Research Centre and other partner institutions and companies that were involved in the research.
The conference will present outputs from the projects Monitoring air quality in small settlements of the South Moravian Region with local heating systems using sensors and Monitoring and measures to improve air quality in the city of Brno financed by the Norway grants and the State Environmental Fund.
