| Description | In this chapter we analyze the influence of economic factors on internal, resp. interregional, migration. Our aim is to use gravity model to test the extend of influence of economic factors on interregional migration in the Czech Republic. In the first part of the chapter we put forward a short review of potential factors of migration, then we introduce the migration characteristics of particular regions. The fundamental part is the creation and test of gravity model of interregional migration, which is based on panel data for 14 regions within years 1991-2009. As results suggests, economic factors play important role in the interregional migration in the Czech Republic. |
