| Description | The main goal of this paper is to compare the efficiency of the banking sector in the Czech Republic and Austria. Stochastic frontier analysis is employed to measure the efficiency of the banking sector. The paper shows that efficiency of the Czech banking sector has improved in the last ten years and got closer to the efficiency of the Austrian banking sector. |
