| Description | Family business in the world is considered a crucial part of the world economy. Research, which took place both in Europe and the U.S. indicates that family business is the most widespread form of business in the world, which produces a substantial part of the world's wealth. For example, in Italy the family business consists of 95% of all business entities, like it is in Portugal, Germany and France. Investigations in the U.S. show that family business generates up to 64% of gross domestic product U.S. These are mostly small and medium-sized enterprises, however, the exception is not business, comprising more than 500 employees. The importance of family business, therefore, can not be denied. Family business as a specific form of business, however, faces a number of problems that are unlike the classical non-family business.The first problematic area is the influence and power of the family, the second is the typical problems associated business. This is the fact that family firms in addition to addressing conflicts in business and family conflicts, which in many cases reflected in the daily running of the company. |
