| Description | The aim of the thesis is to describe and analyze the movements of the foreign capital during the transformation in the V4 contries in the period 1990 till 2005, and to identify the impact of the capital movements on the competitiveness of the economies. First it focuses on foreign direct investment and their impact on competitiveness. It describes the inflows and outflows during the transformation and their reasons. Then it shows capital movements of the portfolio investment, short-term investment and long-term investment and their trends and influence on the competitiveness. |
