Description Growing power of interest groups (stakeholders) together with legislation forces companies to have bigger social responsibility for their activities. The extent of such activities in Czech companies is unknown, as the representative poll on this topic has not been done so far. Therefore we cannot describe the situation in the Czech Republic in exact data. In our paper, we try to explore activities regarding Corporate Social Responsibility reporting in Czech firms. We conducted content analysis of annual reports of companies to find out if and to what extent do the annual reports of Czech companies include information about CSR activities. Besides this explorative research aim, we have also tested three main hypotheses concerning linkages between CSR reporting and (1) ownership of companies, (2) economical conditions and (3) size of companies.
