| Description | The aim of the contribution is to introduce not only legislative instruments that help parents reconcile family and work life but also informal benefits provided by public sector employers beyond legislation. The survey was conducted in public sector institutions in the Czech Republic and France. Policy instrument of life-work balance realized by Czech and France authorities to respond specifically setting instruments of family policy in the state. The France authorities only provide their employees with the benefits they are entitled to under their current legislation. In contrast, the Czech authorities respond to the shortcomings and try to offer above-standard benefits beyond legislation. |
