Description The paper focuses on the analysis of the quality of tourism services. The tourism product consists of various services provided by the private sector, as well as public sector. Naturally, visitor experience depends on the quality of both types of services. The public sector has its irreplaceable role in the field of quality management and implementation of methods and tools affecting service quality. The aim of this article is to present practical experience of the Czech Republic and selected tourist destinations. To describe the foreign attitudes, descriptive research method was used, accompanied by methods of analysis and comparison. On the basis of the findings and the questionnaire survey conducted in Upper Austria (2014), it can be said that the quality of service and service management process depends on financial resources and the level of cooperation between service providers.
