Description The objective of this article is to analyse the financial literacy knowledge of law students. The study was conducted at the Faculty of Law at Masaryk University. The empirical survey included the financial literacy questions related to personal finance and budget, debts, numeracy, price literacy, information literacy and consumer protection. Furthermore, the law students’ preferences were individually analysed. The results of the study show not only the gaps in knowledge in some of the examined areas, but also highlight the financial literacy topics where the law students scored more successfully.
