Description Invitational lecture at the conference "25 years after the Fall of the Berlin Wall" organized by Munk School of Global Affairs – Toronto University. The topic of the lecture was evaluation of the transformation process in the Czech Republic after 1989 from the point of view of German sociologist Ralf Dahrendorf. It concluded that the process was satisfactory in the fields of political and economic development, while being less successful in the field of institutional changes, which is in accordance with Dahrendorf's prognosis.
